Caravan to Turkey: Northern France

Wednesday, 1 May 2013 at 17:54

335km in

Uneventful journey although we were pushed onto a later tunnel train....and that was late.
No problem though...time for a coffee and to buy a couple of magazines. Very little traffic and usual smooth French autoroutes on the way.

Set up pitch in a nice site near St Quentin just before a shower. Used the ACSI card. Exploding external water pump connector now fixed so I didn't need a shower to get wet...

Plan to be off early tomorrow as next town looks interesting (Verdun).

GOODNESS!  Chatting to Australian motorhomers..they and their neighbours were robbed last night on-site HERE. They and the police recon they were probably gassed. Quickly make sign: ALARM ON!! and stick it in the window. Plan to set alarm before sleep....but will I remember to turn the damn thing off before I get out of bed....Mmmmm....
.......now, what was I saying about St Quentin yesterday.......??

Oh and that shower has turned onto a downpour. Cosy in here though.
